a bush for me

a bush for me

within a quiet bush there lies a stem
n’ even further therein
lies another n’ many others, then
there are no more
yet here’s a leaf
n’ I do implore you
to look even further
’til you discover
upon the stems rest several others
then step away
n’ with a hush alights from sky
upon the bush in silent flutter
a sparkling jewel delighting the eye
sunlit wings in autumn red
orange n’ yellow
with sunlit colors a butterflies
above my head there’s even more
much larger wings a handsome fellow
a quiet eagle slowly soars
while beyond the bird so regale
a cool breeze may whistle n’ sing
a distant bell in silence may ring
it matters little for most
but me
I can only hear what I feel n’ see
but there is more for life is kind
no need for sorrow in my plight
much more than wonderful
within my mind
are the silent secrets kept
in sheer delight
n’ treasures that will unfold
for within a quiet bush there lies a stem
n’ stories that shall go untold
n’ even deeper still, within
lies another n’ many, many others,
n’ then,
I am no more
